In 1957 the club held its first Specialty Show and it fast became a very popular yearly event.

Our members are made up of dedicated breeders and fanciers of the Collie Rough, Collie Smooth and the Shetland Sheepdog.

Our club objective is to promote and encouage the breeding of the Collie (Rough and Smooth) and the Shetland Sheepdog, conforming to the breed standards.

Most of our members are very active in the conformation show ring.

Our club recognizes the hard work that goes into breeding and showing and we therefore have an Annual Achievement Awards and this is our way of acknowledging their efforts and dedication to their beloved breed.

We trust that our members will always try and encourage and mentor new people into our breeds...it is the new members who will carry on into the future of our sport.
